I designed this for a friend. He wanted a skull kraken in a less cartoony style than I usually work in. This was done with india ink markers, instead of my usual brush technique. I thought it would make it grittier. The final image was used on a shirt design for his running team at the Tough Mudder.
A little 2″ canvas (with equally adorable miniature easel), presented to Amelia today on her last day of school / first day of summer. A cartoon version of Amelia and Zelda, drawn with India ink marker and crayons.
With Zelda on the way, we thought we would freshen up the paint in Yoshi’s Island a bit. It’s constantly a work in progress, and still isn’t technically finished, but I thought I would share it here in its current state.
Carrie needed a solution for charging her 3DS systems, so I built a cute little stand for them. I have holes in the back for the charge cables to go through, and everything fits nice and tidy on her night stand.
Amelia’s request this year was Groudon, the very Godzilla-like Pokémon from Pokémon Ruby.
I sketched this for my nephew’s birthday, hopefully he likes it! He introduced us to Regular Show and is a big fan, so I made this parody of the “you can’t touch music, but music can touch you” moment in the Season 2 episode “This is My Jam”
Not really art or anything, just neat to look at. I am restoring a bunch of GameBoy and GameBoy Pocket systems, and this is one of the first steps, and also one of my favorites. Disassembly and then through the dishwasher!
