A 1930’s Christmas
Based on the Silly Symphony “Santa’s Workshop.” To imitate the style of 30’s printing, I drew this using only dots and three colors – Cyan, Magenta and Yellow!

Santa Sukoshi is coming to town! I “borrowed” the watercolor background from the 2018 Sukoshi and Friends sleighing artwork, just because I like it so much and it seemed to fit nicely.
New Christmas Tag Designs!
I made some new Christmas Tag designs! These have always been the best selling item in my store, and I was thinking that the old designs (five years old now) were starting to look a little “lazy.” I felt I could do much better. I kept some of the old designs that worked as a starting point and branched out from there. I’m much happier with these and I’m proud that my artwork will be under so many Christmas trees this year!

My first Pigxel Art post was on Facebook 5 years ago today! So many things have changed in that time, but these Pigxel Art characters have been along for the ride and have become very dear to me. I’ve been surprised by the personalities they have developed and I’m looking forward to getting to know them even better as the years go by. I don’t know where we are going from here, but I’m glad that they are on this journey with me.
